Recommendations
- Absolute rest is not mandatory, on the contrary, it is advisable to return to normal activities as quickly as possible to the best of your abilities.
- Avoid tanning during the first three months after the surgery, as it can leave irreversible skin spots.
- Do not smoke for three months, as smoking does not favour healing.
- You must not drive vehicles for a period of at least 15 days.
- You should not raise your arms above your shoulders, or lift heavy objects. This should be done progressively to the best of your abilities.
- Occasionally, it will be necessary to attend massage sessions (lymphatic drainage), based on your needs and your doctor's advice.
- A post-surgical sports bra should be worn for as long as the plastic surgeon recommends.
- The breasts will remain swollen for the first six months and only after this period the final result can be appreciated.
